Chorlton bar Morley Cheek’s has turned the normal beer-paired meal up to 11.
They’re providing four food courses, each made using a specific beer from one of Manchester's finest breweries as a key ingredient.
Each course will be accompanied by the same beer used in its making, as well as a beer cocktail.
It’s true beer indulgence and we love it!
Course one: Lancashire rarebit cooked with Track Sonoma, finished with mustard, fresh herbs and beer-braised onions. Served with a fruity ale chutney and accompanied by a third of Sonoma and a Sonoma-based cocktail.
Course two: Moules frites. Fresh net-caught mussels steamed in Shindigger Weiss and finished with masala and fresh coriander. Accompanied by a third of Shindigger Weiss and a Weisserita cocktail.
Course three: Venison and Runaway Smoked Porter pie. Slow cooked venison in the amazing Runaway Smoked Porter, celeriac mash, buttered greens and a smoked porter gravy.
Course four: Gooseberry tart. Gooseberry and Hawkshead Chuckleberry sour tartlet served with lemon meringue ice cream and a marjoram chantilly cream.
