Where? The Knott
Tickets Free, unticketed
One of Manchester's best-known pubs, The Knott, is hosting a day of festivities alongside Brewsmith to mark the first Saturday of Manchester Beer Week.
It will include a Brewsmith tap takeover, starting at 12 noon, as well as a barbecue on The Knott's balcony.
The pair have even created a new beer especially for the festival. US-hopped IPA Centennial IPA was brewed at Brewsmith's Ramsbottom brewery with assistance from the team at The Knott and will be available to try for the first time at this event.
The beer will be on sale on cask and in bottle throughout the day and the brewers will be on hand to chat to the general public as part of an informal meet the brewer.
Food will be served until 8pm and it promises to be a great way to kick off Manchester's first city-wide beer festival.
