Manchester's famous Chop House venues are creating a seasonal, beer-inspired menu in recognition of Manchester Beer Week.
To decide which dishes make the cut for this limited-edition menu, they are running a competition among staff to unearth the best ideas for beer-inspired dishes that fit a 'best of British' theme.
The winning dishes will be decided in an event at The Albert Square Chop House on Friday June 10, the opening day of Manchester Beer Week.
Shortlisted dishes will be announced on May 31 and the finalists will then be asked to cook their creations at an event at the final event. The dishes will be judged and assessed by a panel including renowned food critic ‘Gordo’ from Manchester Confidential.
The winning dishes will then be added to the menus at The Albert Square Chop House, Mr Thomas's Chop House and Sam's Chop House for the duration of the festival, alongside matched beer paddles designed to complement the food.
