Have you started, or are you thinking about starting, a microbrewery business in Greater Manchester?

There are now more than 2,000 breweries operating across the UK, a 64% rise since 2012. The microbrewery industry is booming in Greater Manchester. This workshop will provide you with an introduction to the things you need to consider when starting & running, a microbrewery business, including basic advice on making sure your business complies with the law.

Hear from experts from:

Environmental Health - providing advice on what you need to do to ensure you prepare your product safely and in-line with national requirements.

Trading Standards - providing guidance on the law regarding what should and should not go on your labelling and packaging.

Fire Protection - covering what you need to put in place to make sure you keep you, your staff and your customers safe.

You will be joined by Mark Welsby Co-Founder and Head brewer from The Runaway Brewery who will be talking about his experiences of running a microbrewery.

There will also be the opportunity to talk to expert advisors from the Greater Manchester Regulatory Centre of Excellence, the GM Business Growth Hub, and Business & Intellectual Property Centre Manchester.
