Traditionally, the beer scene has been perceived as a man's world.
As a product, it is predominantly marketed towards men and there has often been a sense that industry opportunities for women are limited.
Although progress has been made in breaking down barriers and defeating harmful stereotypes, incidences of sexist conduct and regressive threaten to undermine this.
So we ask the question 'does the beer industry have a sexism problem?'
The debate will be hosted at Dan's Brewery and chaired by beer writer Melissa Cole. She will be joined by a panel including Fuller's brewing director John Keeling, founder of Ladies That Beer Julie O'Grady and Caroline O'Donnell, prominent CAMRA member and a festival bar manager for the past seven years.
