A Cali invasion will hit Saison during Manchester Beer Week.
The stylish West Didsbury bar will surrender six keg taps to North Coast Brewing from America's Golden State for an exciting evening of beer and food.
Californian beer expert Andy Young, from Left Coast Distribution, will introduce the beers and ticket-holders will be given a glass of each, paired with six small plates from Saison's kitchen.
The beers included in the evening will be Scrimshaw pilsner, Acme California Pale Ale, Acme California IPA, Blue Star wheat ale, highly-respected imperial stout Old Rasputin and Belgian-style tripel Brother Thelonious.
It's an opportunity to sample some lesser-known beers from one of the brewing pioneers in Northern California's craft beer scene.
Established in 1988 as a brewpub in the historic town of Fort Bragg, located on California’s Mendocino Coast, North Coast Brewing has since gone on to win more than 70 awards in national and international competitions. Old Rasputin receives a rating of 100 from users on RateBeer.
